Our Beliefs

As a Baptist church we follow these Doctrinal Beliefs (Baptist Faith & Message doc)

Mission Statement:

The mission of Valley Head Baptist Church is to lead people to embrace the Great Confession, obey the Great Commandment, and fulfil the Great Commission.

Vison Statement:

Valley Head Baptist Church exists to lead people to Love Jesus, Love One Another, and to Serve Our Community.

Strategy Statement:

Love Jesus: We will lead people to love Jesus through meaningful worship and clear, simple Bible teaching. “Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God.’” (Matt. 16:16) “He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind.’” (Luke 10:27a)
Love One Another: We will lead people to love one another by encouraging them to join a small group and empowering them to share the gospel, their lives, and their goods. “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27b)
Serve our Community: We will teach people to serve our community through providing encouragement and opportunities to pray, give and go, in an effort to see the gospel shared to everyone in Valley Head. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
